Top award to Ettore 2016 from Guida ai Vini d’Italia “VITAE 2020”
The winery Elda Cantine sees the excellence of its production reconfirmed by its Nero di Troia: Ettore 2016 has received the “Quattro Viti”, the highest award of the Guide to Italian Wines VITAE. Top wine of the winery’s selection – founded by the engineer Marcello Salvatori in the splendid town of Troia (Fg) – Ettore confirms for the third time, to be among the best IGP wines of Puglia for the Italian Sommelier Association, which, on October 26th, has organized in Rome the awaited awarding ceremony of the producers included in the top of the 2020 edition of the prestigious guide, highly anticipated by all wine lovers. Rosalia Ambrosino, oenologist, and director of the Apulian fashion house will receive the coveted award, which explains:
“For the Elda team, it is obviously an immense satisfaction to see the commitment and passion we dedicate to our work, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, recognized. Returning once again to the list of high-end products of “Vitae” – a fundamental work and consultation tool for operators in the sector – confirms that we are proceeding on the right path. A direction that fortunately has been indicated to us, above all, by the increasingly numerous and positive feedbacks of our customers.
“A great result – adds the oenologist who signed this robust and fragrant wine from Nero di Troia, a vine whose roots lie in the myths of the Mediterranean culture – which drives us to continue our mission to offer quality wines with ever greater enthusiasm. Produced with processes that are attentive to environmental sustainability and to the enhancement of our native vines. It is precisely the attention to our vineyards, to our land, to the time that we dedicate to it that allows us to produce wines like Ettore, the spearhead of our wine selection that, from the north of Puglia, is conquering more and more space in national and foreign markets. “
Then she concludes: “Now it’s harvest time: all of Elda’s team is involved in the harvest, which is still hand-made by us and in a festive atmosphere, with lively sharing. Looking at the fruits of our teamwork I am sure that the next year will bring more and more precious surprises.
